Into the Twenty-first Century: Converging Technologies

We have invested heavily in infrastructure so you can get the best out of your system. We use a combination of RX/TX and GSM technologies to keep information flowing between your site and the control room, so that the control room can make sure the right action is taken, immediately.

Using the GSM network has other benefits. The cellphone becomes the interface: our clients can use a cellphone to arm or disarm the alarm or perimeter fence, set off a silent panic and receive activity reports.

Electric fence monitoring – keeping the perimeter secure

Your fence is your first point of defence. A smart electric fence not only makes it difficult to get in, but it also alerts you when someone tries.

Energiser units take constant readings of the electricity running through your fence. If there is a change in current, it instantly alerts the control room, and immediate action will be taken.

When you sign up with us; you sign up to regular maintenance and testing of your perimeter defence. Not only do we instantly know if something has gone wrong, but we check for faults proactively: every hour the control room calibrates the fence to make sure it is running smoothly.

Every three months a full physical inspection of the fence forms part of the risk-assessment.

CCTV – not just for Big Brother

With Closed Circuit T V (CCTV), you get another set of eyes on the ground, a set that never forget. CCTV footage can be used in forensic investigations, and is admissible evidence in a court of law.

Guard monitoring – keeping track of events on the ground

Roaming guards carry tags so our system can track the patrol patters and key routes in real-time. This keeps our guards safe, and honest. A built-in panic button and two-way communication ensures that the control room can dispatch back-up immediately.
